In Parma at the Congress Center, will take place the 12th World Conference on Paratuberculosis, organized by the National Reference Centre for Paratuberculosis (IZSLER), under the patronage of the Ministry of Health of the International Association for Paratuberculosis (IAP).

The World Conference on Paratuberculosis is an highly awaited event for  members of the IAP as well as for researchers, industry representatives, veterinarians and public health authorities that are interested on this topic and related problems.

The scientific program, entirely in English, is articulated in different sessions introduced by an invited speaker and concluded by a review&perspective speaker:

Diagnostics and detection:

  • Invited speaker: Douwe Bakker (Department of Bacteriology and Central Veterinary Institute, Lelystad, The Netherlands)
  • Review and Perspective speaker: Iva Slana (Veterinary Research Institute, Brno, Czech Republic)

Host response and immunology:

  • Review and Perspective speaker: Judith Stabel (Department of Animal Science, Iowa State University and National Animal Disease Centre, Ames, Iowa, USA)

Remember  that the early registration with reduced fee will be closed on 3.31.2014.

 

Also remember that June 24 will be a parallel session on control plans with an Italian translation intended for veterinary and public corporation.
